The farmers I bumped into the previous day told me the snow was too deep and the hill to steep for them to go further, so I put my snowshoes on and follow their tracks
Going up gives me a new perspective on the Fjords
From up there the sea looks clear and inviting
Another great view of the Fjords, looking back where I came from
I can feel and even see the heat bluring the clouds
One of many "pile of stones" I will encounter that day
Very curious bird. They will be my only company during those 4 days
Wonders of shapes and colors
If someone lives somewhere, anywhere, there has to be a church
If only I knew what this is... or going to be.
Snow, lots of it, and a river runs underneath all
A few berries from last year
I won't see anybody during that hike, but I know someone has been here not long ago, somehow reassuring.
The horizon. Sometimes the line between the sky and the ground is not so clear.
Up there by the glacier, colder temperatures means harder snow, snowshoes are not needed anymore
After a long day, the tent often is the only refuge from the wind
