I've been lazy today and stayed in bed until 7am, so I missed the sunrise. Well, at least I wasn't in the mountains in time. I did get there early enough to take a few photos with a nice deep blue sky though. A lovely 3 hours hike in the deep *deep* snow.
So what does it look like? Well, as you will see, we have (at least we had a few days ago) the deepest snowpack in the world. Plenty of powder, and now that the holidays are finished, it's very quiet during the week.
Yes, you can see the sea from the top of the mountain. Mount Washington is on Vancouver Island. When the weather is clear, you can even see Whistler, and Mount Baker (USA)
